For God so loved the world...
Exploring The Deep Things Of God
God is love! (1John 4:8)
Love does not make a record of sin! (1Cor.13:5)
On the cross Jesus prayed, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do".
God does not keep a record of our sins...we do!
The record to be cleansed is the one we keep between our ears.
What we have done causes guilt and shame.
What others have done to us causes anger, resentment, and bitterness.
The cross of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.

I know, from my own past experience, there are many concepts of confusion that can still bubble up from time to time. Ideas we accrued from former teachings while in Babylon. You know as well as I there are times we go on "automatic" and do things without really thinking about it. We form habits that just sort of manifest themselves and we never consider them to be wrong. Some of our theology is just like that. We have ideas about our heavenly Father, His plan of salvation, and the mechanics of carrying out the plan, that are not accurate. Ideas we carried over from our stint in Thyatira, where we sat under the teaching of Jezebel, before we finally realized where we had fallen. The cleansing, Christ is giving us, includes a purification from these thoughts as well.
